It's All About Style

Some tips for coding with style that is clear and concise

How to write unmaintainable code

Touka Gettan OST

It has Momoka on the cover :)

But don't be confused that this is the music from the anime--it isn't! BOAS will be looking forward to the anime OST as well. Doesn't that music between Touka and Yumiko sound a bit cheeky?

Kami-chama Karin OP Single Ankoku Tengoku

The opening single for Kami-chama Karin titled Ankoku Tengoku is new from ALI PROJECT. It's got a jazz rhythm that's pretty interesting.

"I AM GOD", Kami-chama Karin

China's Sola

This picture from the Associated Press found on the BBC world news page shows Chinese workers dressed in Army fatigues holding out umbrellas for the Chinese Congress. ARE THOSE THE UMBRELLAS FROM SOLA?

I don't know what to title this?

So it's basically some pictures about Chinese performance artists living in a glass box day and night somewhere in Beijing. AND NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

This Season With BOAS

Everything has been terribly busy but BOAS still wants to share some picks for this anime season:

1. Touka Gettan
2. Claymore
3. Lucky Star
4. Shining Tears X Wind
5. Seto no Hanayome
6. Kiss Dum Engage Planet
7. Sola
8. Murder Princess

Namida Ichirin

That's the title of the insert song for Seto no Hanayome--it's very enka. There needs to be way more enka in popular entertainment and anime; that's just BOAS' opinion. Here are the lyrics:

Anime Council AIR

We've noticed at LaFlaga that Anime Council has picked up the AIR manga. Their work is of very good quality and we encourage anyone who is interested to take a look.

Shining Tears X Wind

BOAS knows it's a bit late. . .But if you haven't seen the anime featuring Tony Taka's art Shining Tears X Wind (pronounced Shining Tears Cross Wind) check it out.

Megumi Hayashibara Tanoshii Doyo

Fun time with Megumi Hayashibara!! Hello Kitty cover, it must be evil.

Shimizu Ai - Kakusei Bisque Doll

Pretty good. BOAS wants Oneesama to Ichigo Sodo toooo~~!

Impressed

After a long long time BOAS has found himself in need to create a presentation. After fussing around with Powerpoint and finally giving up with simply the background image I switched to Open Office Impress on Windows. Seriously, I can't believe how easy and powerful Impress is over Powerpoint. Consider this a recommendation! Now if they can only fix the formatting issues with Writer. . .

MMORPGs PRC Style

The People's Republic of China will start requiring anti-addiction software embedded into MMO games for players under the age of 18. As someone not into the MMO realm (or located in China) BOAS is not particularly concerned--go read a book!

Hayate no Gotoku & Kamichama Karin

Two new series, most Kawaii!

Touka Gettan & Claymore

The first of the spring anime is coming and BOAS starts off with Claymore and Touka Gettan. Claymore is pretty average so I'll say nothing about it. Touka Gettan, however, is just confusing. Something about balls, swords, fireflies, guy/girl/trap, dolls, mama, huh? What was I talking about; anyway check out Touka Gettan if only for Carnelian art and give Claymore a shot if you're so inclined.

素晴らしい

Absolutely wonderful--Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion. It actually gave me goosebumps; HA.

No Joke

I hate April Fools Day.

OpenRT

This was in the BBC a week or so ago and it looks pretty neat. Basically OpenRT or Open(Ray-Tracing) is a research project for a real time low processor ray-tracer. Check it out if you're interested in CG.

Shuffle ~ Memories Omake

Be sure to catch the moe moe ending to Shuffle Memories which was otherwise a disappointing recap of Shuffle!
